What makes AURESSEN different from a diffuser?
Most home diffusers are ultrasonic: they mist water with a few drops of oil, and you can only smell them standing next to them. AURESSEN uses two-fluid atomization, the same method hotels use. Pressurized air turns pure fragrance oil into a 2.4-micron dry mist that fills the room. No water, no heat, no residue. The body is machined aluminum and it runs at 36 dB or less.
Will it leave residue or damage surfaces?
No. The mist is dry and contains no water, so there is no film, no humidity and no mold.
Is it quiet?
Yes. 36 dB or less, about the level of a quiet library.
Which model is right for my space?
The Rover ($100): car, desk and travel, up to 100 sq ft. The Pod ($150): one room up to 300 sq ft. The Suite ($295): living rooms up to 700 sq ft. The Estate ($445): a whole floor, up to 1,000 sq ft. The Estate XL ($595): large open homes and lobbies, up to 1,500 sq ft. Same technology in all five; only the scale changes.
Do I need an app?
No. Schedule and intensity are set on the machine itself. Set it once and it runs.
How long does the battery last?
The Rover and The Pod run about 16 hours per charge and charge in about 5 hours. The Suite, Estate and Estate XL run up to 14 days on a schedule and charge in about 10 hours. All five can stay plugged in.
What comes in the box?
The machine, its charging cable, a quick start guide and your first bottle of PARIS: 10 ml with The Rover and The Pod, 100 ml with The Suite and The Estate, two 100 ml bottles with The Estate XL.
What is in the oils?
Fine fragrance oil, undiluted. No water, no alcohol fillers. Made for two-fluid atomization, which is why it carries across a room instead of sitting near the machine.
How long does one bottle last?
A 100 ml bottle runs 3–4 weeks constantly, or 2–3 months on a daily schedule. A daily schedule is how most owners run it.
Which scents are there?
Six. PARIS (cedar & clove), BARCELONA (white tea), GRASSE (rose & jasmine), MONACO (sea salt & sage), VIENNA (spruce & lavender), AMALFI (pear & orange). Every machine ships with PARIS so you can start on day one.
Can I use other brands’ oils?
We don’t recommend it. The atomizer is calibrated for thin, undiluted fragrance oil. Diluted or water-based blends can clog it and are not covered by the warranty.
Is it safe around children and pets?
The mist is dry and there is no flame or heat. If anyone at home is pregnant, has asthma, or you have birds or other sensitive pets, start on the lowest setting in a ventilated room and ask your doctor or vet.
How long do bottles keep?
Unopened, about three years away from heat and sunlight. Once a bottle is in the machine, use it within about three months.
Why does it seem weaker after a few days?
Your nose adapts to a constant scent. Guests still notice it fully. Run it on a schedule, step out and come back, and rotate two scents.
How much is shipping?
Machines ship for $9.95. Oil orders ship for $4.95. Orders of $350 or more ship free.
Where do you ship?
To US addresses, from our US warehouse. We do not ship internationally yet.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery takes 3–7 business days. You get a tracking link by email the moment it ships.
Do you offer express shipping?
Not yet. If timing is critical, email hello@auressen.com before you order and we will tell you what is possible.
How do I get the complimentary Rover?
Spend $650 or more on machines and oils in a single order and a Rover ($100 value) is added at checkout automatically. The Rover itself does not count toward the $650. If a return later drops the order below $650, return the Rover unused or its $100 price is deducted from the refund.
What if my package arrives damaged?
Email hello@auressen.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo. We ship a replacement right away and you keep the damaged unit.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Email us as soon as possible. We can change it until the shipping label is printed.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. Every machine can be bought outright, and nothing renews. The Scent Plan is optional, for people who prefer to pay monthly.
How does the Scent Plan work?
You pay a fixed monthly price for the number of months that matches your machine’s oil supply, and the machine ships free with your first payment. The Rover: 3 payments of $35. The Pod: 4 of $45. The Suite: 6 of $69. The Estate: 6 of $79. The Estate XL: 6 of $89.
What happens after the last payment?
The plan stops by itself. Nothing renews unless you choose it. You keep the machine and a permanent 20% owner discount on every oil. If you want a bottle every month, you can continue at the $39 member rate, which you can cancel any time from your account.
What if I cancel a plan early?
The machine is free only with a completed plan. Cancel before your final payment and the machine is billed at its retail price ($100 to $595 depending on the model). You see this at checkout and again if you choose to cancel. Every bottle already delivered is yours.
Who counts as a member?
Anyone with an active Scent Plan or an active $39 oil membership. Members’ machines carry the lifetime warranty.
How do I cancel the $39 membership?
From your account page, any time, in one click. No phone call, no fee.
What is the warranty?
Every machine carries a 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Members with an active Scent Plan or oil membership are covered for life, for as long as the membership is active. We repair or replace the machine, free, with shipping paid both ways.
What is not covered?
Accidental damage such as drops and spills, lost machines, and consumables like oil bottles. If something unusual happens, talk to us anyway.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email hello@auressen.com with your order number and a photo or short video. We reply within one business day.
What is the return policy?
30 days from delivery, full refund, no questions asked, on machines and oils alike. Send it back in its original packaging; used is fine. We send you a prepaid return label. Refunds reach your card within 5–7 business days of the return arriving.
Can I return an opened oil?
Yes, within 30 days, for a full refund.
Is there a contract?
No. Pay once, or take a plan that ends by itself. The Scent Plan is optional. It is a fixed number of monthly payments (3 to 6 depending on the machine), the machine is included, and the plan ends by itself. Nothing renews unless you choose it. Cancel a plan before its final payment and the machine is billed at retail.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna, all through Shopify’s secure checkout.
How do I reach a person?
Email hello@auressen.com or use the chat bubble on any page. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
How do I clean the machine?
Once a month, run a chamber of isopropyl alcohol through it for an hour and empty it. Less than five minutes of active time. No water tanks, no filters, no scrubbing.
What if the machine sits unused for a while?
If it sits unused for more than a month, run the cleaning cycle before you start it again and use the bottle within about three months of opening.
Where should I place it?
Where air moves: near a doorway, a hallway, or the path you walk when you come home. Waist height or higher, not in a corner or a cabinet.
Does it work with air conditioning?
Yes. Airflow from HVAC helps spread the scent more evenly.
